Brooks McDonald has practiced architecture in the Bay Area and beyond for over 15 years. As a San Francisco native, Brooks brings a unique approach by incorporating his life experience and love for the area into his practice. Through thoughtful design, Brooks creates architecture that has a strong connection to the environment, is rooted in the context of place, while being harmonious with the client’s vision. Brooks has a rich portfolio of residential, multi-use, retail, hospitality and land development projects, with an emphasis on boutique custom residential design, and sustainable building practices.
Brooks is a licensed Architect in the state of California, LEED AP accredited (Leadership in Energy Efficient Design), and holds an BS in Engineering from UC Berkeley and a Masters in Architecture from University of Oregon. Outside of the office, Brooks enjoys biking, surfing and spending time outdoors with his wife and 2 children.
