This project reinterprets an experimental residence through the lens of California’s countercultural modernist tradition, embracing its eccentric geometry and strong connection to the landscape. A shared living space opens fully to the rear yard and infinity-edge pool, dissolving the boundary between interior and exterior while framing views to surrounding gardens. Bedrooms are quietly nestled on the lower level, providing privacy and retreat. The pool, visible from within the home, introduces movement and reflection, reinforcing a calm, spa-like atmosphere and strengthening the relationship between architecture and its natural setting.
